Costs:

The total costs of a research are composed of the remuneration, which is calculated according to hours (or parts thereof) spent, and the respective expenses that arise during order processing, such as database costs. They depend on the complexity of the question, the number of databases searched and the hits found in them, the effort involved in developing the search strategy and the preparation of the results.
In a detailed consultation we clarify with you in advance the effort necessary for the execution of the research. At the same time you have the option of defining a cost framework

Research conduct:

The search is carried out in close consultation with you. To avoid misunderstandings, all technical / professional questions will be clarified with you either before or, if necessary, during the research. Through this close consultation with you, we minimize the cost and time factor.
Depending on the subject of the order, we work with commercial databases, which are offered by the hosts STN International, DIMDI or OVID, for example, and/or with Internet sources.

Our many years of experience in the use of these various databases and research tools guarantees you the development of a research strategy tailored exactly to your topic in the most suitable sources.
The processing period for the search is generally 1 week for normal processing and 2 - 3 days for urgent processing. A different time frame according to your individual time specifications is also possible at any time.
The search result, which is usually available / obtained in the form of database abstracts, is screened for relevance before delivery and sorted according to your requirements.

For each research, you receive a detailed search report containing the subject of the research, the search strategy, the databases used, information on the answers and an assessment of completeness.
You receive the search result and the corresponding report either as a Word document or as a data file of a literature management system such as EndNote.
Since we want to be sure that the order has been executed / carried out to your satisfaction, we will contact you for a brief debriefing after you have received the results within the framework of our "after sales service".

The total costs for the procurement of full texts consist of the flat-rate remuneration per full text ordered and the respective expenses for the individual full texts and are invoiced on an order-related basis.
The remuneration varies depending on the type of service (express or normal delivery) and the type of delivery. Expenses depend on which delivery services can be used and how quickly you need the literature.

Order execution:

Upon receipt of your literature order, we will immediately confirm receipt of your order. Then we check your order for factual correctness and contact you in case of discrepancies.
For the procurement of full texts, we make use of various also generally accessible delivery services. We select these services on the basis of experience (such as quality, reliability, price) of orders placed so far in the respective areas.
If you wish to use a particular delivery service, this must be agreed when placing the order.

The processing period for full text procurement is generally 5-10 working days for normal processing and 2 - 3 working days for express processing. A different time frame according to your individual time specifications is also possible at any time.
If it turns out in the course of the execution of the order that the desired document can only be obtained via cost-intensive delivery services or directly from the publisher, we will inform you immediately.
We check the incoming deliveries for correctness and completeness before they are forwarded.
The documents are delivered by e-mail or post or by direct delivery to you. Books are sent by post.
If delivery is delayed, we will inform you immediately.
